Why wont my lg blu ray player will not play tangled?

Why won't my LG Blu Ray player (model # LHB953) play the new Blue Ray Disney movies like Toy Story 3, Fantasia, and Tangled? There is a screeching sound and the picture freezes. The only advice I've seen is to update my firm ware...I have the latest version and it still doesn't work. Thanks.
