How to draw human hands?

I'm having a terrible time trying to draw hands.. I'm not bad when it comes to drawing rest of the body but hands are just horribly hard to draw for me. I tried with a basic sketch first but the fingers just turn out horrible! horrible shapes, like friggin sausages or something. What can I do to improve? Any technique in particular for drawing hands? Tips and tricks? Need any bit of help please!
